Ardre Orie Announces New Film
I don’t know about you but Beyonce’s new song Formation has me even more excited about unleashing girl power and magic into the world!
Whether we are in male dominated fields or creating lanes of our own, there is no denying the power of the woman. We can do anything!
Today, we are conscious, relishing in our power and in full throttle when it comes to protecting the people, places and things of value in our lives.
I believe in girl power so much that I selected a team consisting of only women to work on my next film and theatrical production The Heart of A Man. It brings me immense joy to share with you that The Heart of A Man is not only a stage production but it will also be my 2nd film.
Awhile back, I realized that it wasn’t enough for me to create meaningful discussion about the breakdown of the lines of communication between men and women through a stage play. I wanted to extend the reach of the discussion as far and as wide as I could.
The Heart of A Man Film Project will be released to the public in October, 2016.
The film will include raw footage from the actual production that takes place on Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as up close and personal interviews with real men speaking real truths about the misconceptions between what they say and what we believe to be true about relationships and their take on the self-esteem of women.
So much of our power lies in what we believe that men feel about us.
Back in September, I enlisted these beautiful Queens in the following roles:
Rasheda Randle, Play Producer
Ashley Thomas, Film Producer
Genae Banks, Documentary Photography
Additionally, I have enlisted Auvie Lorraine (not pictured), acclaimed makeup artist to oversee the grooming needs for the cast.
Who said women can’t get the job done? Who runs the world? Girls!
My favorite lyrics from Beyonce’s song Formation are:
“I dream it, I work hard, I grind till I own it”.
In my opinion, this is the winning combination for each of us. If we can dream it and we are willing to work for it, we can most certainly own it; especially when we work together! That’s what I call FORMATION.
All my love! ❤️
